I'm Sara Brezzi, Italian surface pattern designer and illustrator, born and raised in a small town Poppi, near Florence where I still live with my partner and our little boy. My father is a librarian and my mother a kindergarten teacher so I grew up surrounded by beautiful books and images. This certainly influenced a lot of my imagination. I graduated from the University of Siena with a B.A in Preservation of cultural Heritage and History of illustration, but I always preferred pliable side of art. My designs are hand drawn and then scanned in for processing and color management. I love creating colorful patterns and illustrations by combining cheerful and quirky elements ( flowers, organic shapes, mushrooms, cute animal characters) to convey the positive vibe and spread the joy!
