A New Yorker at heart, but now residing in a pretty suburb of Philadelphia, I studied Communication Design & Illustration at Syracuse University and a few years later received my MFA from the University of the Arts in Book Arts + Printmaking. Through a commingling of both analog & digital methods, I love to combine textures, colors, shapes and whimsical abstract forms in a modern, sophisticated way. I'm inspired by walking around in cities, tiny details found in nature, and Scandinavian design. I typically spend my days drawing, making monoprints, scanning and being a mom who takes out excessive amounts of children’s books from the library - only a few of which are actually for my two small-ish children.
