And here we GOOOO! Everyday for the next 5 days, we’ll be introducing you to one of our six fabulous artists in our Kindred Art Collective. So drop by daily to meet us all and to see the Halloween art we created especially for our launch! Hip, hip hooray!

I am beyond EXCITED and PROUD to introduce you to Sara Brezzi, from Tuscany, Italy! With a librarian for a father and kindergarten teacher for a mother, Sara sounds as if her childhood was a warm fuzzy one :) Please visit Sara’s portfolio and leave a warm welcome for her in the comments :)

What is your favorite paint color?

It is really hard to choose just one .... I do not know why but in my artwork I always end up using mustard yellow, pink peony, cherry red and peacock blue, this is a combination that gives me joy!!!

If you were a super hero, what would your super power be? And your name?

I would be very undecided between fly or have an invisibility cloak like Harry Potter...can I have both ;)? Name: SuperSara, an old nickname that friends gave me when was a child after an exhilarating flight ... with my little bicycle!!!

Tell us about how you decided to pursue a career in art?

I tried to do different jobs because "living of art" is really difficult, but I was not really happy or motivated and not put all the passion in what I was doing. Making art just makes me feel good .... every day I learn new things, and I meet and comparing myself with new people thanks to the possibilities of the web and it is really exciting and challenging for me!!!

What inspires you?

Everything inspires me ... I'm a sort of visual addicted ... I live in the countryside so the nature is great resource for me, I love to see how it changes from day to night or with the different seasons, my son, illustrated children's books, beautiful fabrics and gift wraps pattern, old kitchen's tools...flowers...

Tutu or Boa?

Of course tutu, I'm not a femme Fatale ;)

Your wish for mankind…

Teach our children to cultivate the more important "art" : love and respect, both for our similar that to every other form of life!!!
